Earn Awards

USDF offers adult amateurs many opportunities for recognition, even if they are not actively riding. More information is available on the USDF website and in the USDF Member Guide, use the title in each section as a link to specific award information.

USDF Rider Awards

USDF Rider Awards are based strictly on scores the rider earns over time and need not be earned in one competition year. Rider awards are available for riders competing at all levels, including Dressage Seat Equitation. Check your USDFDashboard, you may already be eligible!

USDF Year-End Awards

USDF Year-End Awards recognize horses and riders outstanding achievements in many categories. Adult amateurs and their horses are eligible in many award categories. USDF All-Breeds Awards

USDF All-Breeds Awards are designed to recognize the accomplishments of specific breeds in dressage. To be eligible, horses must be declared for the All-Breeds Awards Program with USDF. Deadline to submit the USDF All-Breeds Awards Declaration Form is August 1 and documentation may be mailed, faxed or e-mailed. 

USDF Arts Contest

Designed to highlight the creativity and beauty of dressage and to allow USDF members to express their interest in the sport outside of the competition arena. Winners will have their work published in the yearbook issue of USDF Connection with the grand prize winner used as the cover of the USDF Member Guide.

USDF University

Every year USDF awards certificates and diplomas to members who have earned University credits at designated levels. You can earn credits online or through attending University accredited programs. Most USDF educational programs offer credits for participating or auditing.

USDF Regional Adult Amateur Equitation Program

The USDF Regional Adult Amateur Equitation Program is designed to recognize adult amateurs competing in equitation and promote correct seat, position, and use of aids in dressage. An Adult Amateur Equitation Regional Final class presented by Big Dee’s Tack and Vet Supply will be held in conjunction with each of the nine USDF Regional Dressage Championship competitions, providing adult amateurs with additional opportunity for recognition. USDF Horse Performance Certificates

USDF Horse Performance Certificates are based strictly on the scores a horse achieves over time and need not be earned in one year. These certificates may be earned at every level, Training through Grand Prix. Horse performance certificates can be earned for young horses competing in any USEF four-year-old young horse class, or FEI five-, six- or seven-year-old young horse class.
