USDF Faculties Welcome New Members
Lexington, KY (October 25,
2018) - The United States Dressage Federation™ (USDF) is pleased to announce
that United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) Senior ('S') Dressage Judge
Dorie Vlatten- Schmitz has been approved as the newest member of the USDF L Program
Faculty and USEF Senior ('S') Dressage Judge Janet “Dolly” Hannon has been
named the USDF Instructor/Trainer Program's newest faculty member.
Dorie Vlatten-Schmitz graduated
with distinction from the USDF L Education Program in 1994 and worked her way
up through the USEF Judge Licensing programs, to become a licensed USEF 'S'
Dressage Judge in 2009. Dorie has also earned the USEF judge designations for
Young Horse and Freestyle. USDF L Program Committee Chair Lois Yukins stated,
"After successful completion of the extensive L Faculty Apprentice
Program, we are thrilled for Dorie to join the ranks of the existing USDF L
Program Faculty. With her extensive knowledge, and experience in the judges
box, we are certain she will be a great addition to the faculty."
Janet “Dolly” Hannon first
became a USDF Certified Instructor/Trainer in 1992 through Second Level, and
completed her certification through Fourth Level in 2014. USDF
Instructor/Trainer Program Committee Co-Chair Lilo Fore enthused, “The USDF Instructor/Trainer
Program is proud to add a very capable new trainer/teacher to our already
outstanding list of faculty members! We are proud to have Dolly become part of
our faculty and look forward to working with her for many years to come. She is
another great addition to our already amazing list of faculty members."
