USDF Recognizes Outstanding Achievement in GMO Newsletters and Web Sites

          October 26, 2006 (Lexington, KY) - United States Dressage Federation (USDF) is pleased to announce the GMOs that have been selected as winners for the 2006 USDF GMO Newsletter and Web Site Awards.  In newsletter layout and design, the winners are; Brazos Association for Classical Horsemanship (GMOs with less than 75 members), Southern Eventing and Dressage Association (GMOs with 75 - 175 members), Gold Coast Dressage Association (GMOs with 176 - 500 members), and Central States Dressage and Eventing Association (GMOs with more than 500 members).  In addition to the layout and design categories, awards are also given for the best First Person Experience and General Interest/Informatory articles.  The winner of the First Person Experience Article is the New England Dressage Association's A Tip of the Hat, for Lesley Maxwell's article, "Sons of the Wind."  The winner of the General Interest/Informatory Article is the New England Dressage Association's A Tip of the Hat, for Inge B. Schmidt's article, "Let Horses be Horses." 
          Winning GMOs for web site layout and design are; Crossroads Dressage and Combined Training Society, www.cdcts.org (GMOs with less than 75 members), Southern Eventing and Dressage Association, www.sedariders.org (GMOs with 75 - 175 members), Dallas Dressage Club, www.dallasdressage.org (GMOs with 176 - 500 members), and New England Dressage Association, www.neda.org (GMOs with more than 500 members.
