Dressage Athletes Announced for 2026 FEI North American Youth Championships
Lexington, KY (July 15, 2026) - The United States Dressage Federation™ (USDF) is pleased to announce the athletes that will represent the United States in the 2026 Discover Dressage/FEI North American Youth Dressage Championships presented by USDF, held during the FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC). The competition will be held July 27- August 2, at Great Lakes Equestrian Festival (GLEF), in Traverse City, MI. The NAYC is the premier equestrian competition in North America for children (ages 12-14), juniors (ages 14-18), young riders (ages 16-21), and U25 (ages 16-25). Young equestrians vie for team and individual medals in the Olympic equestrian disciplines of show jumping and dressage. The competition is run under the rules of the FEI (Federation Equestre Internationale), the international governing body for equestrian sport, and is the only FEI championship held annually on this continent.
When discussing this year’s event, USDF FEI Youth Committee Chair Roberta Williams had this to say, "NAYC is not about winning. It is about the achievement of earning the right to be on that prestigious field of play. This year, it will be extra special for our athletes to wear the US flag on their team uniforms in this, our 250th Anniversary of the birth of our nation.”
