August 3, 2006 (Lexington, KY) – The United Stated Dressage Federation (USDF) announced that it has renewed and expanded its sponsorship agreement with Great American Insurance Group in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Great American Insurance Group is the title sponsor for the nine USDF Regional Championships and is also the new title sponsor for the USDF Breeders Championship Series. The new agreement solidifies support for two of the biggest USDF member programs for ten years.
The Great American Insurance Group/USDF Regional Championships are held in each of nine regions from Training Level through Grand Prix. The horse and rider pairs must meet a series of qualifications, including the acquisition of at least two qualifying scores from two different judges that meet nationally-standardized minimum percentage levels.
The Great American Insurance Group/USDF Breeders Championship Series is designed to promote breeders and quality sport horses. Each series is regional and consists of at least three qualifying events culminating in the championships. Only champion and reserve champion horses from the filly, colt/gelding, mare and stallion qualifying classes are invited to compete in the final.
"Our relationship with Great American continues to grow," states Stephan Hienszch, Executive Director of USDF. "We are thrilled to have expanded our partnership to include the Breeders Championship Series as we believe it's a great next level of growth in the exposure to our market for this equine insurance provider."
