Lexington, KY (July 15, 2019) – The United States Dressage Federation™ (USDF) is pleased to announce the riders that will represent the United States in the USDF North American Youth Dressage Championships, held during the 2019 Adequan®/FEI North American Youth Championships, presented by Gotham North (NAYC). The championships will be held July 30-August 4 at Old Salem Farm, in North Salem, NY. A total of 47 youth, from across the country, will compete. The NAYC is the premier equestrian competition in North America for youth, age 12-21, vying for team and individual FEI medals in the three Olympic equestrian disciplines of show jumping, dressage, and eventing. The competition is run under the rules of the Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI), the international governing body for equestrian sport, and is the only FEI championship held annually in North America.

“These young athletes have just completed a very competitive qualifying process and have earned the right to represent their region, on teams representing the US, in an International competition. Congratulations to all the riders! Without the tireless efforts of the USDF regional coordinators, chef d'equipes and volunteers, this event would not be as special as it is. Hats off to them and a heartfelt thank you,” said USDF FEI Jr/YR Committee Chair Roberta Williams.
