GMO Awards

Regional GMO Volunteer of the Year Award

This award is designed to recognize outstanding volunteer efforts at the local level. One GMO volunteer is recognized in each of the nine USDF regions. Nomination forms must be completed and submitted by the president or designee of the president of the GMO for consideration.

Newsletter Awards

These awards recognize the authors of outstanding articles published in GMO newsletters. Awards are presented in eight categories:

Best First Person Experience Article for GMOs with:
• Less than 75 members
• 75 – 174 members
• 175 – 499 members
• 500 or more members

Best General Interest Article for GMOs with:
• Less than 75 members
• 75 – 174 members
• 175 – 499 members
• 500 or more members

Website Awards

Designed to recognize GMOs that create and maintain websites. Awards are given in four categories:

1. Best User Experience for a GMO with less than 75 members
2. Best User Experience for a GMO with 75 – 174 members
3. Best User Experience for a GMO with 175 – 499 members
4. Best User Experience for a GMO with 500 or more members

Photography Awards

This award recognizes outstanding efforts by GMOs that include amateur photography in their newsletters. Awards will be presented in four categories:

1. GMO with less than 75 members
2. GMO with 75 – 174 members
3. GMO with 175 – 499 members
4. GMO with 500 or more members
