Technical Delegates Committee

Mission

To provide education and an organized voice for Technical Delegates.

Goals

1. Provide educational programs for technical delegates and aspiring technical delegates.
2. Review United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) rules and rule change proposals.
3. Establish regular contact with all technical delegates through regional coordinators.
4. Establish a dialog between the Competition Management Council and the Technical Delegates Council in order to encourage show managers to use technical delegates as a resourse.

Objectives

1. Monitor rule changes and make comments where appropriate.
2. Promote interest in the TD Apprentice Clinic.
3. Provide a forum for TDs through email exchanges for discussion of situations that cannot be easily resolved by application of the rules.
4. Review the Technical Delegate Checklist and update areas that are affected by current rule changes.
5. Continue communication with council members and encourage them to share information with technical delegates in their regions and to be available to answer question from competitors.
6. Review the Dressage Show Protocol.
