Nominating Council

Mission

To procure quality candidates to govern the Federation.

Goals

  1. Secure nominations for regional participating member delegates, Youth Executive Board, and USDF Executive Board.
  2. Ensure that all GMO members represented on the Board of Governors by GMO delegates
  3. Educate the membership about the candidates Oversee the election process

Objectives

  1. Procure nominations for PM delegates in each region.
  2. Procure nominations for Youth Executive Board (YEB) in Regions 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.
  3. Obtain names of GMO/IMO delegates when determined by each GMO/IMO.
  4. Educate membership about candidates.
  5. Recruit Canvassing Committee members from each region.
  6. Oversee the election process.
  7. Continue promotion of online voting with incentives for returned ballots.
  8. Send notification letter to GMOs/IMOs who failed to respond to delegate requests for the 2007 convention in Orlando, Florida.
