Adult Programs Committee

Mission

To encourage, increase and enrich adult participation in dressage by providing educational opportunities and recognition of achievement.

Goals

  1. Provide concepts for new adult education programs.
  2. Increase the number of participation in USDF supported adult programs.
  3. Get Regions and GMOs more involved in adult education through increased and improved communication with Adult Education Regional Coordinators.

Objectives

  1. Prepare an education planning document for the Web site.
  2. Improve access and information sharing of GMO educational programs
  3. Identify recourse for educational expertise
  4. Re-implement council and GMO communication
  5. Revamp University program criteria
  6. Continue to look into Adult education grant guidelines
  7. Explore the idea of an awards program for recognizing innovative educational programming within GMOs
  8. Continue to add Adult camp themes to the Adult camp guidelines
