COMPETITIONS
2025 FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC)

Qualifying scores for the event may only be earned at designated USEF/NAYC Qualifying Competitions, within the qualifying period beginning July 23, 2024, and ending June 16, 2025, unless otherwise determined by February 1, 2024. Please be sure to thoroughly review the 2025 Selection Procedures.

The 2025 NAYC Application is now available on the USDF website. Applications and fees submitted online between March 12, 2025, and April 22, 2025, will be charged $100 per application.

Applications and fees submitted online between April 23, 2025, and May 6, 2025, will be charged an application fee of $300 per application. No applications will be accepted after May 6, 2025.

Additional horses may be added to an already received application, at no additional fee, through April 22, 2025. Between April 23, 2025, and May 28, 2025, the rider will be required to submit a $50 fee for each added horse. No additional horses may be added to the application after May 28, 2025.

USEF/USDF Dressage Seat Medal (DSM) Program

The 2025 qualifying period runs from January 1 through the end of the qualifying period of the respective regional championship competition the athlete will be attending. More information can be found on the USDF website.

  • September 1: Cynthia Aspden Youth and Young Adult Development Fund: $1,000 grants for riders age 25 and under to aid in the development of dressage. Perfect for clinics, concentrated training, or other educational opportunities!
  • October 7: Dream Program: Wellington: TDF’s Dream Program: Wellington allows riders who are 18-22 years old the opportunity to enhance their understanding of dressage theory and upper-level training by spending time in Wellington, Florida, and the Adequan Global Dressage Festival.
