Steeped in a rich 50-year history, the USDF Annual Convention (now the Adequan®/USDF Annual Convention) has long been known for its integral role in the fulfillment of USDF’s mission of education, recognition of achievement, and promotion of dressage.

THE CONVENTION EXPERIENCE

Each year, USDF members from around the country come together to celebrate, network, and take their stake in dressage. With the future of USDF and dressage in the US in the balance, these passionate and dedicated ambassadors of the sport spend a week each fall analyzing and debating the hottest topics in the sport, attending uniquely curated education sessions, connecting with longtime friends from around the country, and celebrating the best and brightest USDF and dressage have to offer!

EDUCATION

In addition to the uniquely curated Featured Education Presentations, the annual convention also plays host to the highly anticipated open forums on topics such as Trending Topics in Sport & USEF Rule Changes and the US Dressage Finals presented by Adequan®, the highly informative Group Member Organization Roundtable Discussions, as well as session designed specifically for competition management.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Bookending the convention week are attendees two most popular social events, the annual Welcome Reception and the Salute Gala & Annual Awards Banquet. 50th Anniversary

It’s safe to say that while those 50 or so people present, on that cold November day in Nebraska, had a dream and vision of what dressage in this country could be and achieve, they could have never imagined the growth and success the organization has seen in its 50 years. So, raise your glasses and here’s to another 50 years of USDF and dressage in the US!
