| August 2011 Important GMO Delegates Information
All Group Member Organizations with at least 25 members should appoint a delegate to represent them at the 2011 Board of Governors meeting during the USDF convention in San Diego, CA. To appoint a delegate/proxy, an Officer of your GMO must go to http://www.usdf.org/about/about-usdf/governance/nominating/index.asp on the USDF Web site and click the link titled “GMO Delegate/Proxy FAQ & Form”. Directions on how to submit your completed form are located on the bottom half of page 4. If you would like to request a hard copy of the form be sent to you in the mail, or if you have any questions, email nominations@usdf.org or call 859-271-7897. The deadline for completed forms to be submitted is August 31, 2011. Are you bringing a basket to San Diego?
Bring a GMO basket full ofr your local goodies to the 2011 Adequan/USDF Annual Convention in San Diego, CA, and show off your GMO's style! Baskets are on display throughout the convention and serve as door prizes at the Board of Governors. The GMO Basket Letter of Intent is due in the USDF office by November 11. One deserving Group Member will receive the Ruth Arvanette Memorial Fund Grant to attend the 2011 Adequan/USDF Annual Convention in San Diego, CA. The grant includes full convention registration and partial reimbursement for travel expenses. Applications are due in the USDF office by August 31. Questions? The Dressage Foundation’s Edgar Hotz Endowment Fund has some new and exciting changes to the grant procedure for the Continuing Education Program for Judges and USDF “L” Graduates.
