The horses Ingrid will be riding:
Kelly - a 10 year old Dutch/Friesian gelding owned by Dr. Debbie Klamen and handled by Martin Kuhn.
Lucero - a 14 year old Holsteiner gelding owned by Amy Jordan and handled by Jordanna Meadows.
Lauren Sprieser
Ms. Sprieser is a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold medalist and a three-time veteran of the North American Young Rider Championships, culminating in a team gold medal in 2005. Since graduating from the young rider program and Sarah Lawrence College in Yonkers, NY with a degree in public policy, Lauren and Bellinger, her mount for symposium, placed third in the inaugural Brentina Cup Championship for Young Adults at Gladstone, NJ. The pair also won the Intermediare II Championship at the Young Adult Championships and took reserve at both Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Freestyle at the 2006 Great American Insurance Group/USDF Region 2 Championships. They placed 10th in the Adequan/USDF Intermediare II Horse of the Year standings and won the Trakehner Verband Award for the highest placed Trakehner at Grand Prix for 2006.
Marina Parris-Woodhead
Ms. Parris-Woodhead, a USDF Bronze and Silver medalist and USDF L Education Program graduate, owns Hidden Oaks, a premier dressage training facility in Pleasant Hill, MO. Hidden Oaks stands the stallion Pandorra that Ms. Parris-Woodhead will be riding at symposium. In 2005, the pair were the Great American Insurance Group/USDF 4th Level Open Champion in Region IV, Kansas City Dressage Society (KCDS) 4th Level Open Champion and the KCDS Prix St. George Reserve Champion. They continued their success in 2006 with numerous wins on the Florida circuit, including a 1st place at Prix St. George at the Gold Coast Opener, FEI High Point Champion at several shows in Kansas City and the Adequan/USDF All-Breeds KWPN-NA (Dutch) Prix St. George 5th place and the KCDS Prix St. George Horse of the Year.
Amanda Johnson
Ms. Johnson is a dressage trainer in North Liberty, Iowa and a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold medalist. She was a member of the Region 4 North American Young Riders team from 1999-2001. In 2002, she was a part of the Dressage Foundation's Olympic Dream Program. Ms. Johnson is riding Pip, a 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding, owned and bred by Barrie Anderson. Since starting the gelding's training in 2003, when he was at training level, the pair have been a demonstration team for the 2006 USEF Judges Forum, the All-American Musical Freestyle Symposium and appeared on the cover of the USDF Connection magazine. In May, Pip debuted at Prix St. George and finished the season as the Great American Insurance Group/USDF Region 4 Champion at Prix St. George.
Martin Kuhn
Mr. Kuhn is a USDF Certified Instructor through 2nd Level and a USDF Bronze and Silver medalist. He was a member of the 2002 North American Young Rider Championships Gold Medal team and placed 5th individually aboard Romulus. Martin is aboard Remus, an 8-year- old Dutch gelding owned by StarWest. Martin and Remus were the Silverwood Dressage High Point award winners 2nd through 4th Level in 2006. In 2004, Martin was part of the Dressage Foundation's Olympic Dream Program. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Illinois College and is a trainer at StarWest, a dressage training facility in New Berlin, IL.
Kathryn Fleming-Kuhn
Mrs. Fleming-Kuhn is a USDF Certified Instructor through 2nd Level and a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist. She was a member of the Silver Medal team at the 1999 Cosequin Junior Dressage Team Championships. In 2001, she was a member of the Bronze Medal team for the North American Young Rider Championships aboard LA Baltic Mariner. Kate and her Dutch warmblood gelding Phoenix were the 2006 USDF 2nd Level Horse of the Year. Kate holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Illinois College and is a trainer at StarWest in New Berlin, IL. Kate is riding the 4 year old Hanoverian mare Cinnamon owned by StarWest in the Symposium. Kate started the mare under saddle last year and went on to win the High Point Training Level Horse award at the AK Fall Dressage show in September, 2006.
Rick Silvia
Mr. Silvia is well-known as a competitor and owner on the Florida dressage scene. Rick participated in the young rider's program and currently competes in the open FEI divisions. Mr. Silvia is the young entrepreneur behind Dream Street Stallions, which imports and stands stallions with sought-after European sport horse bloodlines. Silvia trained in Europe for nine months, earning his German Riding License and his initiation into competing in the Grand Prix in Europe. Currently, Rick is preparing several of his Dream Street Stallions for the 2007 competition season. Rick is aboard his Grand Prix stallion, Mr. Magic - an 11-year-old Swedish warmblood by Kyra Kyrklund's Master 950.
