Speaker Bios
Nancy Holsing
Began riding at the age of 10 Western then English. Teen years spent riding hunters with switch to dressage in college. Left horses and riding while in graduate school. Returned to riding and showing dressage 20+ years ago. USDF member since the mid-1980's. Past President of Gold Coast Dressage Assn. 1990-95. Technical Delegate since 1992, currently "R" with pony measurement certification. Served on USDF Technical Delegate Council as Region 3 representative 1998-2002. FEI Chief Steward for Dressage since 2005.
Lisa Gorretta
Lisa Gorretta is an "R" dressage technical delegate and has been a TD for over twenty years. A former Region 2 Coordinator for the USDF TD Council, she worked on the creation of the TD apprentice training program and the USDF bit and equipment collection, of which she remains the unofficial "curator and head of procurement." She is also a former USDF Region 2 Director, serving from 1995-2000.
Gorretta is an active volunteer, serving the USEF Dressage Committee, as Chairman of the USDF Regional Championships Committee and as a technical advisor for USDF Connection. She has served as a panelist for several USEF Technical Delegate Forums, including 2005 and 2006. In "real life" she is usually found working at her tack shop, The Paddock Saddlery, of Chagrin Falls Ohio. A busy schedule does include time for riding and limited competition on her Swedish Warmblood gelding with which she earned her silver medal in 2005. (Photo By Bob Tarr)
Lloyd Landkamer
Lloyd Landkamer, is a co-owner and operator of Brandywine Stables in Hamel, Minnesota. Brandywine Stables offers an outstanding sport horse breeding program, exceptional dressage training and instruction, quality sale horses, and an onsite tack shop. Landkamer is also a professional horse show manager, and has managed hundreds of dressage competitions, including the North American Young Riders' Championships, various CDIs, and USDF/GAIG Regional Championships.
