
All USDF recognized competitions are invited to participate. There is no cost to the competition to host the USDF/Dover Adult Amateur Medal Program and no additional class to add. Competitions must register with the USDF well in advance of their competition dates and designate the required Second Level Test Three or applicable test of choice USDF/Dover Adult Amateur Medal class in the prize list. Note: new for the 2008 USDF competition year the rider must ride Second Level Test Three. The USDF/Dover Adult Amateur Medal program application form can be downloaded from this page.
The USDF/Dover Adult Medal will be awarded to the highest scoring adult amateur who meets the eligibility requirements and has obtained a score of at least 58% in the required designated class.
Winners of the USDF/Dover Adult Medal will receive a USDF/Dover pewter medal with neck ribbon and a $20 Dover Saddlery Gift Certificate for the first three USDF/Dover Adult Medals they win during the 2008 competition year.
A USDF/Dover National Merit Award will be presented to every rider who wins three USDF/Dover Medals in the 2008 competition year.
All USDF/Dover National Merit Award winners are eligible.
The 2008 USDF/Dover Adult Amateur Medal National and Reserve Champion will be awarded to the riders with the highest and second highest average of their top three scores of their USDF/Dover Adult Medal winning rides during the 2008 competition year.
The 2008 USDF/Dover Adult Amateur Medal National Champion will receive a $1000 Dover Saddlery gift certificate and a Jaguar dressage saddle.
The 2008 USDF/Dover Adult Amateur Medal Reserve Champion will receive a $500 Dover Saddlery gift certificate and a Jaguar dressage bridle.
The USDF/Dover Adult Amateur Medal National and Reserve Champion will be presented at the 2008 Adequan/USDF Annual Convention in Denver, CO.
