USDF All-Breeds Eligibility Verification Instructions

After you enter your Participating Organization's (POs) assigned society number and PIN number, you will be able to access a list of horses that are All-Breeds declared for your organization, are USDF Lifetime Registered, and have at least 3 scores from the same level of 58% or higher from at least 2 different USDF recognized competitions.

You will need to go through this list and mark in the appropriate column horses that have met your eligibility requirements for All-Breeds awards with a "yes". Horses that will never be able to earn an All-Breeds award from your organization you mark as "no". Horses that could meet your requirements but haven't at that point, you leave blank or your may check the 'checked' box. If you check the 'checked' box it will move the horse to the checked list for you to look at again later. Eventually all horses that you 'checked' the checked box must be either marked as "yes' or "no". By using the checked box it allows you to move a horse from your "not checked" list to your "checked list" and therefore allows you to not have to look at this horse over and over again. To move onto the next 25 horses in the list, just click the "Save and Continue" button.

Remember, "yes" means "eligible" as of September 30, 2010. If owner membership is a requirement for awards within your registry, for example, and the owner has not yet renewed his or her membership but could do so prior to September 30th, leave the column blank until their membership has been renewed. This would apply to other cases as well, such as a transfer of ownership.

Once you submit those horses with a "yes" or "no", you will not have to check them again. Only horses that are blank or new horses that meet the minimum requirements will appear the next time you check the list. As the season goes on, your list should become smaller and smaller as competitors become eligible with your organization and horses are removed from the list.

Once the horses you have marked with a "yes" have also met the USDF All-Breeds award program minimum requirements, they will appear on our All-Breeds preliminary rankings on our Web site. You can also access the preliminary rankings to determine how your members are ranked within all award categories, not just those that you have chosen to award.

All-Breeds awards will become final on October 15, 2010, at 5pm EST. There will be no corrections from competitors or POs after that time. No exceptions. Competitors will have from the time they are ranked to the 15th of October, 5 pm EST to notify USDF or the PO of any corrections or discrepancies. Thus, it will be very important to give a final check to your list on October 15th prior to 5 PM EST just in case there were some late changes.
