Full-time Position(s):

Receptionist

The United States Dressage Federation (USDF), a non-profit equine organization focused on the sport of dressage, has an immediate opening for a full-time, hourly Receptionist. The applicant must provide exceptional customer service, have excellent written and oral communication skills, must be detail-oriented, must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently, and must be able to multi-task. Candidates must also possess proficient computer skills, including database management and competency in Microsoft Office applications. Equine knowledge a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the front desk and lobby area.
  • Addressing inquiries, questions, and request via phone and e-mail, and/or directing to the appropriate department/personnel.
  • Assisting USDF members with navigation of the USDF website, updating their member information, and addressing other member needs as requested (or forward to appropriate staff).
  • Greeting and communicating with visitors to the USDF office.
  • Directing and assisting visitors to the USDF Hall of Fame and USDF merchandise store.
  • Organizing and handling conference meeting room reservations.
  • Handling incoming mail.
  • Providing assistance to the Administration Department and other departments as needed and as directed.

Pay will be commensurate with experience.

Horse Registration Coordinator

The United States Dressage Federation (USDF), a non-profit equine organization focused on the sport of dressage, has an immediate opening in the Membership Department for a full-time, hourly Horse Registration Coordinator.

This position is responsible for all administrative aspects related to the registration, transfers of ownership, and lease of horses, as well as the processing of all membership and horse registration applications received from USEF-licensed/USDF-recognized competitions.

Applicants must have exceptional customer service skills and be detail-oriented, must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently, and must be able to multi-task while meeting assigned deadlines. Applicants must have the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, and be able to navigate difficult situations with tact. Candidates must also possess proficient computer skills, including database management, have the ability to learn and work within custom databases, and have competency in all Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge of equine terminology is preferred.

Education Programs Assistant

The United States Dressage Federation (USDF), a non-profit equine organization dedicated to the sport of dressage, has an immediate opening in the Education Department for a full time, hourly Education Programs Assistant.

This position will provide administrative support to the department and assistance with both video editing of multimedia projects and planning education events.

Applicants are required to have excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills. It is essential to be detail oriented, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Candidates must be able to manage projects as well as multitask while meeting assigned deadlines. Proficient computer skills in database management, Microsoft Office applications and photo/video editing software (such as Photoshop and Adobe Premier) is necessary. Key candidates should possess an equine background with dressage knowledge and experience.
