Full-time Position(s):

Education Department Coordinator

The United States Dressage Federation, a non-profit equine organization focused on the sport of dressage, has an immediate opening for a full-time, hourly Education Department Coordinator.

The applicant must possess excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills; must be detail-oriented and versatile; must be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment; and must be able to manage projects and multi-task, while meeting assigned deadlines. The applicant must also possess proficient computer skills including database management and competency in all Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of photo/video editing software (such as Photoshop and Adobe Premier) is a plus. An equine background with dressage knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serving as a program liaison and supporting volunteer driven committees.
  • Responsible for oversight of educational programs/events including implementation, developing marketing plans and budgets, assisting in the design of educational materials, and providing administrative support to volunteers and other USDF staff.
  • Interact with outside vendors, clinicians, and other entities in support of educational initiatives and events.
  • Providing multi-media support for assigned programs.
  • Supporting development of educational content on USDF website.
  • Support related social media platforms and communication (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, etc).
  • Providing administrative support, including, but not limited to, the following:
    • Organizing and shipping materials for programs and events
    • Creating and maintaining databases
    • Tracking program-specific materials and ordering as needed
    • Creating templates, forms and evaluation documents
    • Statistical analysis and data entry
    • Providing web-based and record-based research
    • Directing phone calls and assisting members

The ability to work evenings and weekends will be required. Minimal travel will be required.
